- Hydro-pressure, gas pressure gauges and torque wrenches
are calibrated annually or when suspected to be in error with a standard
deadweight tester or a calibrated Master gauge. The Master gauge is
calibrated annually. Pressure gauges are believed to be in error if
the pressure indicator reads different than the gauge being used.
- Dial indicators are calibrated monthly, traceable
to National Institute of Standards & Technology.
The calibration test bars are in 25mm increments. A 125mm micrometer
is used to check the I.D.
Overall appearance and cleanliness is checked.
- Micrometers are calibrated semi-annually with the
same calibration test bars as the dial indicators, which are traceable
to National Institute of Standards & Technology.
